Susan J. Broderman, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine and a Fellow of the American
College of Physicians. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University School of Medicine (formerly
Hahnemann University), she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Broderman has served as a clinical instructor of medicine at Drexel University since 1991. She has been part of the staff
of Doylestown Hospital since 1995 and served as a chairperson of the Women's and Family Health Committee and an active
member of the Bioethics Committee. She completed a preceptorship in osteoporosis at Allegheny University Hospital Center of
Metabolic Bone Diseases in 1998. Dr. Broderman served as a student health physician at Delaware Valley University from 1995
through 2007 and currently serves as medical consultant for the college's Student Health Center.
Christine R. Moran, C.R.N.P.
Chris Moran received a B.S. in Nursing
from the University of Virginia and a M.S. in Nursing from Catholic University where she specialized in cardiovascular disease.
She received her family nurse practitioner post-graduate certificate from The College of New Jersey. Chris was an assistant
professor of nursing at Gwynedd Mercy College. She comes to us from a family practice in Southampton, PA where she worked
for thirteen years. Chris also has extensive inpatient nursing experience.
Rebecca L. Lew, C.R.N.P., C.D.E.
Rebecca Lew is a board certified
family nurse practitioner and graduated from the UCSF program in 2012. Prior to joining Broderman Internal Medicine
Associates, Rebecca worked at the University of California, San Francisco Women's Health Primary Care Clinic. She
believes in a collaborative approach to patient care and demonstrates this by providing patients with the tools and education
to make informed health decisions. Her interests include reproductive health, family planning, chronic disease prevention
and management and nurse practitioner training and mentorship. Along with being a FNP, she is also a Certified Diabetes
Educator. She is available to provide lifestyle and self-management counseling on diabetes care. Rebecca is
fluent in Cantonese.
Dawn Fecker, C.M.A., Clinical Team
Dawn Fecker is a certified clinical medical assistant. She completed her training at Chi
Institute and has several years of healthcare experience. Dawn supports the practitioners with procedures, captures
vital signs, administers vaccines, performs electrocardiograms and provides additional clinical support as needed.
Dawn enjoys her work with patients and supporting the practice through both her clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Jennifer Schurer, Front Office
Jennifer Schurer is our administrative assistant. Jennifer studied in the administrative secretarial
and graphic design departments at Bucks County Community College. Jennifer comes to us from the advertising and publishing
industries. She schedules appointments, handles prescription refills, and prepares referrals and pre-certifications through
our EMR system.
Karen Hunter, B.S., Operations Team
Karen Hunter is a Penn State University graduate
with over 15 years of tenure in the healthcare industry. She joined the practice to provide operational support for
both our business and clinical teams. Karen's prior professional experience includes both business development
and client interfacing within both hospital and ambulatory care settings.
Joanne Van Deusen, B.S., Director of Business Operations
Joanne joins Broderman Internal Medicine and brings 20 years
of healthcare business operations expertise as well as marketing and business development success working with multiple organizations.
Her strategic vision and tactical execution has led to operational enhancements to support organizational growth. Joanne
will support the daily operations of the practice.
