Susan J. Broderman, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine and a Fellow of the American
College of Physicians. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University School of Medicine (formerly
Hahnemann University), she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Broderman has served as a clinical instructor of medicine at Drexel University since 1991. She has been part of the staff
of Doylestown Hospital since 1995 and served as a chairperson of the Women's and Family Health Committee and an active
member of the Bioethics Committee. She completed a preceptorship in osteoporosis at Allegheny University Hospital Center of
Metabolic Bone Diseases in 1998. Dr. Broderman served as a student health physician at Delaware Valley University from 1995
through 2007 and currently serves as medical consultant for the college's Student Health Center.
Rebecca L. Lew, C.R.N.P., C.D.E.
Rebecca Lew is a board certified
family nurse practitioner and graduated from the UCSF program in 2012. Prior to joining Broderman Internal Medicine
Associates, Rebecca worked at the University of California, San Francisco Women's Health Primary Care Clinic. She
believes in a collaborative approach to patient care and demonstrates this by providing patients with the tools and education
to make informed health decisions. Her interests include reproductive health, family planning, chronic disease prevention
and management and nurse practitioner training and mentorship. Along with being a FNP, she is also a Certified Diabetes
Educator. She is available to provide lifestyle and self-management counseling on diabetes care. Rebecca is
fluent in Cantonese.
Dawn Fecker, C.M.A., Clinical Team
Dawn Fecker is a certified clinical medical assistant. She completed her training at Chi
Institute and has several years of healthcare experience. Dawn supports the practitioners with procedures, captures
vital signs, administers vaccines, performs electrocardiograms and provides additional clinical support as needed.
Dawn enjoys her work with patients and supporting the practice through both her clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Shirley Bachman, L.P.N., Clinical Team
Shirley is a Licensed
Practical Nurse and Phlebotomist with 31 years’ experience in the long term care setting. She received her
degree from Bucks County Community College. Shirley joins the Clinical Team and will support the practitioners
and patients in providing optimal clinical care. Her responsibilities will include performing multiple procedures, capturing
patient vitals as well as assisting the practice clinicians as needed during patient office visits and follow up.
Jennifer Schurer, Sr. Customer Care Coordinator
Sr. Customer Care Coordinator studied in the administrative secretarial and graphic design departments at Bucks County Community
College and her prior experience includes working in both the advertising and publishing industries. Jennifer manages the
front office responsibilities to include scheduling appointments, processing prescription refills, generating
referrals and pre-certifications as well as supporting the office practitioners in providing patient support and office administrative
requirements. Jennifer celebrates 10 years with the practice!
Bridget Coughlin, Customer Care Coordinator
Bridget joins Broderman Internal Medicine as a Customer Care Coordinator. She brings
20 years of industry experience to include both insurance expertise as well as healthcare customer service. Bridget
will support the practice in an administrative capacity to provide optimal customer care in scheduling patient appointments
and processing clinical referrals, pre-certifications as well as other operational services for both providers and patients.
Diane Camasso, Operation Team
has over 35 years of healthcare industry experience with a concentration in business operations in pharmaceutical marketing/sales.
Diane joins the practice in a hybrid position to support both the business operations and customer care teams through
our practice expansion. Diane will be responsible for both administrative support and operational execution.
Joanne Van Deusen, B.S., Sr. Director - Business Operations
Joanne joins Broderman Internal Medicine and brings 20 years
of healthcare business operations expertise as well as marketing and business development success working with multiple organizations.
Her strategic vision and tactical execution has led to operational enhancements to support organizational growth. Joanne
will lead the daily operations of the practice.
